Spider

Build eight complete King-to-Ace runs in the same suit.

How to play

Build descending sequences on the ten columns. Any card can go on a card one rank higher, regardless of suit.

Only a run of the same suit in descending order can be moved together.

When a full run from King down to Ace of one suit is built, it is removed to the foundation.

Click the stock to deal one card onto each column.

Remove all eight runs to win. Choose 1, 2 or 4 suits for easier or harder games.

About Spider

Spider is a solitaire with ten columns in which you build eight complete runs from King down to Ace in one suit. You can build on any card one rank higher regardless of suit, but only a run of one suit moves as a group. You can play with one, two or four suits, which makes it a good solitaire to grow into.

Tips for Spider

  • Start on one suit. It is the gentlest version, and the habits you learn carry over to harder ones.
  • Prefer to build in the same suit whenever you can, since only same-suit runs move together.
  • Work on the columns with the most face-down cards, because uncovering them gives you the most new options.
