Old Maid
Draw blind from your neighbour, pair up and don't get stuck with the odd queen.
How to play
The queen of clubs is removed, so one queen has no partner: the Old Maid.
Everyone discards all pairs of equal rank from their starting hand.
On your turn click one of the face-down cards of the next player's hand to take it. If it pairs with one of yours, discard both.
Players who run out of cards are safe. Whoever is left holding the odd queen loses.
About Old Maid
Old Maid is a children's classic. The Queen of Clubs is removed from the deck, so one Queen has no partner. Players discard their pairs, then take turns drawing a card from the next player's hand. Whoever is left holding the odd Queen loses.

Good to know
- It is a game of chance: there is no hidden information except where the odd Queen currently is.
- Rounds are short, which makes it a good warm-up while you wait for the other players of a bigger game.
- If you are the one holding the odd Queen, the only thing to do is hope your neighbour draws it.
Questions about Old Maid
How many people can play Old Maid?
Old Maid is played by between 2 and 6 players. Real players and bots can share a table, so a game can always start even if you do not have enough people.
Can I play Old Maid against the computer?
Yes. Pick easy, medium or hard bots and start straight away. Bots only use what a player in their seat could see, so they cannot peek at your cards.
Can I play Old Maid online with friends?
Yes. Create a private room and share its code, or join a quick match. If someone drops out mid-game, a bot takes over their seat.
