President

Climb the ladder: beat the last play with the same number of higher cards. 2s are highest.

How to play

The whole deck is dealt. Rank order, low to high: 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 J Q K A 2.

The leader plays one or more cards of the same rank. Each next player must play the same number of cards of a higher rank, or pass.

When everyone else has passed, the last player to play leads a new trick.

Players who play their last card are out; the order of going out gives the ranking, the last player holding cards is the Scum.

About President

President is a climbing game for four to six players where the whole deck is dealt out. Each play must beat the last with the same number of cards of a higher rank, with 3 the lowest and 2 the highest. Players go out in order, and the finishing order decides who is President at the top and who is the Scum at the bottom.

Tips for President

Hold your 2s and Aces to take control of the lead rather than spending them on small tricks.
Break up pairs only when you must: a pair is two cards for the price of one play.
Lead your low sets early to get rid of junk while the table is still easy to beat.

How many people can play President?

President is played by between 4 and 6 players. Real players and bots can share a table, so a game can always start even if you do not have enough people.

Can I play President against the computer?

Yes. Pick easy, medium or hard bots and start straight away. Bots only use what a player in their seat could see, so they cannot peek at your cards.

Can I play President online with friends?

Yes. Create a private room and share its code, or join a quick match. If someone drops out mid-game, a bot takes over their seat.
