About Blackjack
Blackjack pits you against the dealer: get closer to 21 than they do without going over. You can hit, stand, double down for exactly one more card, or split a pair once, and a natural blackjack pays 3 to 2. Everyone starts with 1,000 virtual chips and the player with the most after the chosen number of rounds wins, so this is a score game, not a gambling one.

Tips for Blackjack
- Basic strategy beats instinct: stand on a hard 17 or more, and always hit a hard 8 or less.
- Double down on 11 (and usually 10) when the dealer shows a weak card, and always split aces and eights.
- Never split tens or fives. A pair of fives is a better 10 to double, and a pair of tens is already a strong 20.
Questions about Blackjack
How many people can play Blackjack?
Blackjack is played by between 1 and 5 players. Real players and bots can share a table, so a game can always start even if you do not have enough people.
Can I play Blackjack against the computer?
Yes. Pick easy, medium or hard bots and start straight away. Bots only use what a player in their seat could see, so they cannot peek at your cards.
Can I play Blackjack online with friends?
Yes. Create a private room and share its code, or join a quick match. If someone drops out mid-game, a bot takes over their seat.
